Who can apply for the MeritMap India Genius Ji journey?+
Students studying from Class 1 to Class 12 in a recognised school across India can create a portal account. The class standard selected during registration determines the Digital Test question band.
What is the ₹125 payment for?+
The ₹125 one-time fee is for the Digital Test first-time experience. After verified payment, the student logs into the MeritMap India portal to view the paper and follow the notebook and scan process.
Will students type answers online?+
No. The student views the Digital Test paper in the portal and writes answers in their notebook. The notebook is then scanned through the separate mobile app portal shared by the MeritMap India team.
What happens after the notebook scan?+
The third-party mobile portal handles scanning and analysis. The MeritMap India student portal shows the next status when the team updates the registration record.
What are the later selection rounds?+
Selected students may be invited to a complete live online IQ test, followed by a physical round. Finally, selected students receive an opportunity to appear on the Genius Ji show.
What do selected students receive?+
The journey is designed around learning, recognition and experience. Depending on the organiser’s announced criteria, selected students may receive attractive gift hampers and an opportunity to appear on the show.
