A plain-language starter notice for the portal. Replace this with your final legal policy before production.
What we collect
When a student creates an account, the portal may collect the student’s full name, class standard, school name, parent or guardian name, email address and WhatsApp mobile number. Payment references are stored for registration support; card and UPI credentials remain with the payment provider.
How we use it
MeritMap India uses portal information to create the student account, provide the Digital Test, communicate process updates, manage selection stages and support parents or guardians.
WhatsApp confirmation
If the contact has opted in and the template is approved, a registration confirmation may be sent through the configured WhatsApp Business API provider. API tokens remain on the server and are not exposed in the browser.
Notebook scans
Notebook scans and detailed analysis may be handled by a separate third-party mobile portal. Review and publish that provider’s privacy terms and disclose the sharing process to parents or guardians.
Retention and requests
Set a written retention period, access controls and a contact process for correction or deletion requests. Admin activity and portal engagement may be recorded for security, support and product reporting.
